Terms and conditions

These terms explain how we quote, book and administer travel arrangements on your behalf.

1. Who we are

Afrimark Travel & Tours is a travel agency registered in the Republic of South Africa as Afrimark Travel and Tours, CIPC registration number 2024/413640/07, with its business address at 93 Octans Avenue, Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa.

These terms apply to all enquiries, quotations, bookings and services arranged by Afrimark Travel & Tours, whether requested through this website, by email, by telephone or through WhatsApp.

2. Our role as an agent

Afrimark Travel & Tours acts as an agent for airlines, hotels, tour operators, transport providers, insurers and other suppliers. The travel services you purchase are supplied by those third parties and are subject to their own terms, conditions and conditions of carriage.

While we select suppliers with care, we are not liable for the acts, omissions, delays, cancellations, insolvency or service standards of any supplier, nor for events beyond our reasonable control.

3. Enquiries and quotations

An enquiry submitted through this website is a request for information and does not constitute a booking. Prices shown on this website are indicative or marked “Price on Request”, and no price is binding until it appears on a written quotation issued by us.

Each quotation states its validity period. Fares, rates, taxes and exchange rates may change until a booking is ticketed or confirmed by the supplier.

Flight availability, fares, baggage allowances and airline schedules are subject to confirmation at the time of booking.

4. Bookings and confirmation

Bookings are only confirmed after payment and written confirmation from Afrimark Travel & Tours or the relevant authorised supplier.

You are responsible for checking that all names, dates, routes and travel details on your quotation and confirmation are correct. Name changes and date changes may attract supplier penalties or may not be permitted at all.

5. Payments and service fees

Payment terms, deposit requirements and balance due dates are stated on your quotation or invoice. Failure to pay by the stated date may result in the cancellation of the reservation or the loss of a quoted fare.

Our service fees are separate from supplier costs and are stated on your quotation. Service fees cover professional consultation and administration and are generally non-refundable once work has been performed.

Banking details are provided privately on your quotation or invoice. We will never ask you for a one-time password. If you receive payment instructions that differ from those on your invoice, please telephone our office to verify them before paying.

6. Travel documentation

You are responsible for holding a valid passport, the correct visas, permits and any required health documentation for every country on your itinerary, including transit points. Many countries require a passport valid for at least six months beyond your return date.

Afrimark Travel & Tours does not guarantee visa approval. Visa decisions are made solely by the relevant embassy, consulate or immigration authority.

7. Travel insurance

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance for every journey. Cover is arranged through authorised insurance providers and is subject to policy terms, exclusions and provider approval. Afrimark Travel & Tours is not an insurer.

8. Changes and cancellations

Changes and cancellations are governed by the conditions of the relevant supplier, together with our own administration fee. Please refer to our Refund and Cancellation Policy for details.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by South African law, our liability is limited to the value of the service fee charged by Afrimark Travel & Tours for the affected booking. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of enjoyment, income or opportunity.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
